The raffle

Commissions are given out through a monthly raffle. Entering is always free — no purchase is necessary and never will be. Winners are picked either at random or by hand, at the artist’s discretion, and the decision is final. From time to time, submissions may be opened directly instead of running a raffle — when that happens, it’ll be clearly shown on the site.

The raffle form is open on the first days of each month (see the FAQ on the homepage for the exact window, which may vary around holidays).

Pricing

Current pricing is listed on the homepage and is subject to change for future raffles. A maximum number of pets per entry applies and is shown on the entry form.

Payment

Entering the raffle costs nothing, and nothing is charged upfront — you never pay anything to enter or before being picked. If you’re picked, payment for the commission itself is arranged separately by e-mail, via PayPal, Credit Card, Apple Pay, or iDEAL.

Reference photos

You’re welcome to upload photos with your entry, but this isn’t required to be picked. If you’re chosen for a commission, we’ll contact you by e-mail for the reference photos actually needed to draw your pet.

Delivery

Finished portraits are delivered digitally (no physical prints), at high resolution, in the format described on the homepage.

Usage rights

Commissioned artwork is for personal use only — you’re welcome to print it for yourself, friends, and family. Commercial use (logos, merchandise, resale, etc.) is not included and needs to be arranged separately.

Our right to decline

We may decline to complete a commission at our discretion — for example, if reference photos aren’t usable, or the request falls outside what we draw (pets only, no humans). If that happens after payment, you’ll be refunded.

Cancellations & refunds

You can cancel and receive a full refund any time before work on your commission has started. Once work has begun, refunds are handled case by case — get in touch and we’ll sort it out fairly.

Liability

We do our best to capture your pet’s personality, but illustration is inherently interpretive — we can’t guarantee an exact likeness. Our liability for any issue with a commission is limited to the amount paid for that commission.

Your account

Submitting an entry creates an account automatically so you can check your status later. See our Privacy Policy for how that data is handled, including how to delete your account yourself at any time.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time; the current version always applies to new entries.
